Three steps, none of them a change to how you already write.

A new book starts empty. Every save becomes a signed snapshot. Each snapshot gets its own fingerprint. Create Defend’s server timestamps it. Your writing never leaves your computer. Chapter by chapter, the book fills in. Name the draft when it’s done. Build the edition from that draft. Content credentials say who wrote it. They travel inside the EPUB. Published.
Step 1 Point it at your manuscript A Scrivener project, a Word document, or a folder of Markdown files. Your files stay where they are.
Step 2 Write as you always do Each save becomes a signed snapshot, automatically. Drop voice memos, notes, scans and art into the inbox folder and they are recorded too. Name drafts when you want.
Step 3 Show your work Export an evidence package with a readable summary and a bundle anyone can check offline. Your text is included only if you choose.

The record only matters if the process holds up.

Your manuscript never leaves your machine. What reaches us is a timestamp we anchor cryptographically on our server, so anyone can later verify when each draft existed.
